
The town of Takayama has been in peace for the last three centuries. Their civilization has been blessed by the lands oni spirit Mayama, powering their society on the valuable nectar of the gods, made into familiar human treats. However, everything changed when a new force from the island Aogashima attacked. These Aogashima samurai pillaged and disgraced their sacred ground and took control of himeji castle where their tyrannical reign began. Mayama’s chosen kunoichi, Tsuru decided to take matters into her own hands and return the plentiful bounty back to the town and defeat the Aogashima samurai.
What I did as a programmer

Project Post-Mortem
The project proved to be a difficult task for Knuckle dragger studios due to it being the first proper game that most members of the team had ever produced. As a result we were uncertain of how far our roles went in terms of the work we would be responsible for. This resulted in issues such as programmers having to act as technical artists. There were also strong communication issues found in the group that resulted in an overall haze of confusion as the project progressed towards it's due date.

If I could go back and change things for this project, I would mainly focus on fixing the communication issues that were had, as I feel that was the main source of the team's struggles.
